FIRM OVERVIEW |
 Bletzer & Bletzer, P.C. is a professional corporation located at 300 Market Street in Brighton, MA. We also have an office at 482 Aiken Avenue in Dracut, MA. The firm was founded by the Honorable Conrad J. Bletzer, Sr. (Ret.) in 1959. With almost fifty years of broad-based experience in real estate transactions, civil litigation, criminal defense, estate planning, personal injury and probate law, our attorneys are able to competently serve our clients’ many legal needs. |
 Business Law:
Bletzer & Bletzer has acted as general counsel to a number of small to medium-size businesses. The firm represents these businesses in all aspects of their existence including formation, financing, contracts, personal and business litigation. |
 Civil Litigation:
Bletzer & Bletzer has handled thousands of civil litigation cases. We have been called upon to act as both plaintiff's counsel and defense counsel in these actions. Because of this wealth of experience, we have the ability to look at each lawsuit from a plaintiff's and a defense perspective. Preparation and zealous advocacy on behalf of our clients has led to significant success in this area. Our attorneys plan a strategy with the client and follow through until his/her goals are achieved. On the plaintiff’s side we have been very successful in helping clients to recover substantial settlements and judgments. As counsel for the defense, we have been able to resolve matters quickly and in the defendant’s favor, letting them get on with their lives. |
 Criminal Defense:
Bletzer & Bletzer has represented clients in criminal cases in almost every courthouse in Massachusetts. Conrad J. Bletzer, Jr., Curt Bletzer and Jim Murphy are all former Suffolk County Assistant District Attorneys with significant trial experience and negotiating skills. This experience gives us the unique perspective of understanding, not merely the defendant's side of the criminal case, but the prosecution's as well. We are also adept at representing clients at clerk’s hearings, registry appeals and other administrative proceedings. |

The firm has an active family law practice which includes representation of both husbands and wives in divorce actions. The attorneys in the firm have a broad-based perspective and understanding of the consequences of peoples’ actions and have the experience necessary to advise our clients as to what actions should be taken and what actions should be avoided. |

Bletzer & Bletzer has a thriving real estate practice. The firm has handled thousands of real estate transactions during its almost fifty years in practice. We often act as lender's counsel, but also represent buyers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions including sales, refinances, leases, options and tax-free exchanges. The firm is an agent of Stewart Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company and Lawyers Title Insurance Company and has performed thousands of title searches and title certifications. We are also very active in land use, licensing and zoning issues. |
 Trusts/Wills/Health Care Proxies/Probate:
Bletzer & Bletzer is able to help our clients with their estate planning. We have experience drafting wills, trusts, health care proxies and power of attorney documents. The firm is active in the administration of estates and can help with probate issues that may arise. |
