Dina B. Browne
Dina Browne was born and raised in Brighton, Massachusetts. She was accepted to and attended the prestigious Boston Latin School, from which she graduated in 1982, and where she was later inducted into the Varsity Hall of Fame for volleyball and softball. She was accepted early decision to Dartmouth College, and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology in 1986. Ms. Browne graduated cum laude in 1991 from Boston College Law School, earning her juris doctor degree. After several years working in Boston law firms, she founded the law firm, Lamb and Browne, P.C. in 2000 with offices in Holliston and Walpole, Massachusetts. In 2011 she joined the Boston firm of Bletzer & Bletzer, P.C. as a partner.
Dina has represented hundreds of lenders, buyers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Having closed thousands of loans during the real estate boom and unfortunate collapse, she has seen firsthand the issues that can and do arise and advises clients on what they need to do to be protected when entering into a purchase and sale agreement.
Since becoming a lawyer, Dina has also represented insurance carriers and insureds under their insurance policies, including general liability, property, dwelling and homeowner’s, automobile and professional errors and omission policies. She has handled a myriad of cases from simple slip and falls to large construction site accidents involving wrongful death claims. She has extensive experience in representing restaurants and bars including the handling of liquor liability and dram shop claims. In addition. Dina has represented insurers in first party property claims and insurance coverage matters and thrives on interpreting cases and crafting new legal arguments.
Dina also handles a variety of other legal matters, including but not limited to personal injury cases, general business litigation, zoning, probate, condominium conversions, commercial and residential leases and landlord tenant matters.
In 2020, Dina was nominated for and accepted the position of Co-chair of the Real Estate Conveyancing Section for the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts. She is a former member of the Holliston Zoning Board of Appeals and former Trustee of the Friends of the Commonwealth Museum. For over fifteen years she has been an alumna admissions interviewer for Dartmouth College.
Dina is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts. She and her husband, John, reside in Dedham, Massachusetts. They have two daughters, Meaghan and Nicole and two cockapoos, Primrose and Pandora.
